Day 127 / 492 – From last year, driving from Calgary to Denver. Sometimes you take something and don’t have the tools to do with it what you want, or to bring it out as well a you like. This one was like that. I knew there was something there, but I just couldn’t do with it what I wanted.
Sometimes, I get down about not having a print sale yet, or that I spend this much time on photography and have little in hand to show for it. But also, time is on the side of the photographer. The more you shoot, the more you have that is worth having. Your archives build. You become better at the craft. And better tools and techniques come along and better skills are earned, and you can go back to older works.
