When I got this camera (Sony a6000), I was looking at a different system that does this cool trick called Live Composite. It takes long exposures like this in shorter, 1 second shots, and only updates where new light has occurred. So it keeps the background the same, and lets the light trails build as you go. Sometimes, I’m a little jealous of that functionality.
Then again, this turned out OK. I wish it were a little warmer, so I could stay out longer to get shots like this. I’m freezing my backside off. Then again, I’d have to be out later, so take the good with the bad.
